Introduction

Julie Ryder has worked as a physiotherapist in the NHS and private sector for 30 years. She specializes in postural advice and soft tissue massage. Julie is also a fully trained Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, who utilizes her years of experience within the medical profession to provide a practical and efficient approach.

Julie's clients come for many different reasons and are often either referred via their GP or are recommended by a friend. Due to her years of experience, Julie has adopted a very down to earth approach. Her sessions provide opportunity for her clients to learn and take an active role in their recovery. The practice is very relaxed and comfortable, with parking and easy access.

What do the letters stand for?

MCSP - Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. This is the professional body governing the UK's 40,000 chartered physiotherapists. Julie has been a practising member of the MCSP for 30 years.

HPC - Health Professions Council. This organisation provides physiotherapists who are bound to high ethical standards and professional excellence. Julie has been a practising member of the HPC for 30 years.

MIAH - Member of the International Association of Hypno-Analysts. Membership is obtained via examination by the Hypnotherapy Control Board (one of Europe's largest hypnotherapy schools). It binds its members to a strict code of ethics; ensures they undertake continual peer reviews; insists that members must continually update their knowledge; undertake full public and indemnity insurance, and offer a totally confidential service. Julie has been a practising member of the MIAH for 3 years.

NRAH – National Register of Advanced Hypnotherapists (UK) All members of the register are professional therapists who have shown an advanced working knowledge of hypnosis and a commitment to ongoing personal development (CPD). All are covered by professional indemnity insurance.

RPHH - Registered Practitioner of Holistic Hypnotherapy. Membership involves undertaking a 3 fold qualification of: suggestion therapy, analytical therapy and utilising the mind/body link. Julie has been a practising member of the RPHH for 5 years.
